Hello to all the people that have urged me to start blogging, as well as to those that feel this medium has no merit.
Why did I decide on this medium to muse to vent my ideas open the innocent and not so innocent?
The genuine belief that I was better than blogs (considering some that I have read).
The thought that what I had to say deserved something much more lofty than some blog, in addition to reading many blogs, that frankly made me sleepy.
So despite my slipping grasp of the technology that I felt I gave birth to, as close as I'll ever come to being pregnant.
Along with the cog that whizzed around at the back of my mind thinking,I made this whole Internet happen and now look what it's become!.
Something akin to a Mother's disappointment upon a child's school report, or a child that uttered it's first backchat or expletive, realising that they have spawned something not in their image or liking, however still having to love.
You get the picture here.
To put it bluntly I don't like what has happened to the free open Internet that I thought would enlighten minds.
Instead what I see is a P.T. Barnum (wikigoogle it) that is riddled with corporations whoring and peddling there wares on an very suspecting public.
Drunk on debt ,sound bite news catered for there inability to concentrate there minds on anything for more than 2 minutes, I.E the lowest common denominator.
If you watch Xfactor, Pop Idol, I'm a failed Celebrity or any other mind numbing T.V this is not the blog for you.
